Author Madge Williams offers a story of personal struggle and renewed life in God in her novel "A New Beginning" (published by AuthorHouse).

"My inspiration came from living at a time when lots of young people were restless and, in search of their own identity, choosing to rebel from society," Williams says.

Centered in a quiet, fictitious village in Trinidad, passionate characters plunge into the depths of frustration as they seek out the lives they desire. Though their beginnings are different - Nathaniel Douglas' life starts with hurt and sadness whereas Teresa Sanchez is born into a good home - each character takes a similar journey, searching for identity.

Nathaniel and Teresa are joined by other characters, each perfectly displaying human error as they reach for their goals. Williams' story takes readers on a journey of hopefulness and disappointment, showing the struggle for personal triumph among the complexities of modern life. Through her characters, Williams encourages readers to persevere - despite challenges and obstacles - and to have faith in God.

"The book transcends time and circumstance, showing that nothing is too hard for God to do," Williams says.
