NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, March 23, at 3pm. Performers include Fran Leonardis, Christian Fabian and Lauren Fox & Ritt Henn. The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Elizabeth Nucci.

Fran Leonardis came upon the NYC cabaret scene in 2011 when she was named second runner up in the Metro Star Talent Challenge. She went on from there to do her own show IT WILL NEVER BE THAT WAY AGAIN, which was nominated for a MAC award for best debut show. She is very active in NJ theater and just completed a run as Mama Rose in GYPSY. When she is not on stage she is a wife and Mommy.
Christian Fabian was born in Sweden and grew up in Germany after the age of six. It was there that he saw a Dizzy Gillespie concert when he was 12-he met Dizzy and was so inspired he decided to play jazz. When Berklee College of Music awarded him a full scholarship, he moved to Boston and graduated with a degree in performance and Film scoring Magna Cum Laude in 2000. Lionel Hampton selected him as bassist for the Lionel Hampton Big Band, and he has performed with the Band since then. Fabian also received several invitations from the Thelonious Monk Institute to participate in their summer workshops. He was an Artist in Residence at the University of Massachusetts , and has studied with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Billy Taylor, Mike Longo among other Jazz greats.

Christian's own band, the Fabian Zone Trio, has released six CDs since 2006: Across the Tracks, Curtain of Life, Of The Essence, The Masters Return!, Keys in Ascension and West Coast Session, featuring top musicians as special guests. On national airplay charts, the Fabian Zone Trio reached #1 on Music Choice, Top 10 on Jazz Radio for Canada and Top 20 on Jazz Week (national US radio chart) several times.

Mr. Fabian is currently very active in the New York jazz scene-recording, performing and teaching in New York throughout the year, and touring in the US and Europe.

Fox & Henn (Lauren Fox & Ritt Henn) will present a portion of their debut show, GHOSTS OF LOVE - SONGS FROM THE REEL WORLD OF DAVID LYNCH. David Lynch has been an American film icon for over four decades. His highly stylized, surreal vision of the world, and especially relationships, has inspired so many filmmakers who followed.... Lynch is a master at curating music for his soundtracks, making them as much a part of his films as the films, themselves. He has also written several stunning songs. Fox & Henn have taken these songs from David Lynch's soundtracks, along with dialogue extracted from his screenplays, and arranged them to tell a new story (using Lynch's dark, Film Noir style) of two people, haunted and tortured by love.

"Evocative...it casts a heady spell...a fraught musical dialogue that could be taking place in the Twilight Zone...The aural nakedness opens a cavernous space for spirits to chase one another in circles. More than once, I thought of the Orpheus myth....The demons and angels who inhabit Mr. Lynch's imagination stirred to life."-Stephen Holden, New York Times
