Illicit love, lust and betrayal take the stage in Murder Ballad running at Actor's Express November 8 - December 7, 2014. This sexy rock musical will keep audiences guessing until its breathless final moments. Performances are Wednesday through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets are $26-$45 and may be purchased at actors-express.com or by calling 404.607.7469.

Actor's Express Artistic Director Freddie Ashley directs Murder Ballad following up on his recent rock musical successes The Rocky Horror Show, Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson and Spring Awakening. The ensemble features Atlanta newcomer Kristen Browne, Jeremy Harrison (AE's Maple and Vine) and Kevin Harry (AE's The Rocky Horror Show, Aurora's Les Miserables) as members of a New York City love triangle and Jessica De Maria (Aurora's Mary Poppins and Les Miserables) as the sultry narrator detailing a story of true love gone awry.

Murder Ballad, conceived by and with book and lyrics by Julia Jordan and music and lyrics by Juliana Nash, follows a sultry singer who takes the stage in a seedy downtown bar, singing a story of "true love gone awry." Against the backdrop of an unforgettable rock-and-roll score, she spins a lurid tale of lust and murder that unfolds when a New York love triangle goes wrong. Full of pulse-pounding plot twists and powerhouse vocals, Murder Ballad will keep you guessing until its breathless final moments.
