MTV to Exclusively Premiere New MAN OF STEEL Clip, 6/13

MTV today announced that Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and director Zack Snyder will appear on MTV on Thursday, June 13 to premiere an exclusive clip from the highly-anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures film MAN OF STEAL, during "MTV First: Man of Steel." Beginning at 7:56 PM ET on MTV, the "Man of Steel" cast and director will be joined by MTV News' Josh Horowitz to personally introduce the clip and then head online to MTV.com for a 30-minute sit-down interview. During that time, they will take fan questions via Twitter (using @MTVNews / hash-tag #MTVFirst #AskSuperman).

From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures comes "Man of Steel," starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, under the direction of Zack Snyder. A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind. The film also stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Syncopy Production, a Zack Snyder Film, "Man of Steel." Zack Snyder directed the film from a screenplay by David S. Goyer from a story by David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and published by DC Entertainment. "Man of Steel" is produced by Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder, with Thomas Tull, Lloyd Phillips and Jon Peters serving as executive producers.

"Man of Steel" will be released in 3D and 2D in select theaters and IMAX on Friday, June 14th by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
