Broadway star Valisia LeKae ("Motown The Musical") visits the Emmy-winning Syndicated daytime talk show, THE DOCTORS, tomorrow, Friday, February 28 (check your local listings) to discuss her recent diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

A 2013 Tony Award nominee for her performance as Diana Ross, LeKae abruptly announced last December that she had to withdraw from the Broadway production for medical reasons and later confirmed her departure in a statement on her personal Facebook page that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The actress shares her story with the doctors and updates her prognosis.

"No one would've told me a year ago, 'You're gonna be on a hit show; gonna get nominated for a Tony, and then at the end of that year, you're going to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer,'" says LeKae. She went to her doctor for what she believed would be a routine procedure. "Two days ago, I was having a simple cyst removed. And now I'm facing the fight of my life."

Tune in on Friday, February 28 for the full interview and her inspirational story of survival, including the incredible progress she's made on her road to recovery.
