MOSES, THE AUTHOR is a humorous and poignant exploration of the man who led the Jews to the Promised Land -- a family man, a writer . . . and a guy with a variety of real problems. Moses has issues with his career (writer's block, a hellish deadline), his family (gay son, rocky marriage, distant mother), and God (existential). He's not happy with the Bible, but to make a better Bible he must become a better man. A love story, with scrolls.

The cast of MOSES, THE AUTHOR includes Hazen Cuyler, Janine Hegarty, Ramzi Khalaf (A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden, 1st National Tour of Falsettos, Vineyard Theatre, John Houseman Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, McCarter Theatre, Eugene O'Neill Theatre); Judy Rosenblatt (NYSF/Public Theater; LaMaMa, E.T.C.; Theatre Row, The Abingdon Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, the 14th Street Theatre, Greenwich Theatre, the Players Club, The Florence Gould Hall at the French Institute Alliance Francaise; "The Sopranos")and Mitch Tebo (Classic Stage Company, George St. Playhouse, Paper Mill Playhouse, Nebraska Rep and Arkansas Rep).

MOSES, THE AUTHOR has scenic design by Nikolay Sviridchik, costume design by Heinze & Heinze, lighting design by A.J. Dobbs, and sound design by George Port. Eli Thacker Taylor is the Assistant Director. Adam Samtur is the Production Stage Manager.
