MORMON Cast To Sign Albums at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre 5/17

The cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON will sign copies of the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording from Ghostlight Records on Tuesday, May 17 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). The signing will be from 2:00 - 3:30 PM. THE BOOK OF MORMON has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and this week won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.

Ghostlight Records releases the Original Broadway Cast Recording of THE BOOK OF MORMON digitally on Tuesday, May 17 and physically on Tuesday, June 7. However, the CD, which features color photos, complete lyrics and liner notes from Frank Rich, will be available for purchase at the May 17 signing. From noon to 3:30 PM, the recording will be available for $25 in the lobby at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre for cash and credit card purchases and on the waiting line for cash purchases.

The cast, including the production's Tony Award-nominees Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells, Nikki M. James and Rory O'Malley, will sign copies of the CD inside the theatre. There is no limit in number of CDs that can be purchased; however, only one CD per person will be allowed for the signing. Cast will sign CDs as time permits and the line for the signing will be cut off at a certain point. Purchase of the CD does not guarantee signing.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The world premiere musical is choreographed by five-time Tony Award-nominee Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.

THE BOOK OF MORMON has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and this week won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. THE BOOK OF MORMON is also nominated for 12 Drama Desk Awards, including Best Musical, 6 Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Musical and the Drama League Award for Best Musical.

THE BOOK OF MORMON stars Josh Gad as Elder Cunningham, Andrew Rannells as Elder Price, Nikki M. James as Nabalungi, Rory O'Malley as Elder McKinley and Michael Potts as Mafala Hatimbi, with Lewis Cleale, Brian Tyree Henry, Scott Barnhardt, Justin Bohon, Darlesia Cearcy, Kevin Duda, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Clark Johnsen, John Eric Parker, Benjamin Schrader, Michael James Scott, Brian Sears, Jason Michael Snow, Lawrence Stallings, Rema Webb, Maia Nkenge Wilson and Tommar Wilson. The production also features Graham Bowen, Ta'Rea Campbell, Jared Gertner, Tyson Jennette, Valisia LeKae, Douglas Lyons, and Nick Spangler.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Brian Ronan. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. Music direction and vocal arrangements are by Stephen Oremus.
