Puerto Rican born and New York based dancer, choreographer and educator, Luis Salgado joins its talent with the grand dame of Peruvian creole music, Cecilia Bracamonte. Anniversary Sin-Cuenta is a spectacular show starring Bracamonte, one of Perú's most beloved singers and who is celebrating fifty years of her illustrious musical career. The world premiere of Anniversary Sin-Cuenta will take place on November 21st at the Peruano Japonés Theater in Lima, an auditorium that sits one thousand people.

Anniversary Sin-Cuenta is a musical and dancing journal on the history of Peruvian creole songs and on the life of one of its most important interpreters Cecilia Bracamonte. The repertoire is selected from different genres, with fusion of the waltzes and afro-Peruvian rhythms with the international beats of hip hop and salsa.

"For me the challenge of coming to Latin America once again is that it allows me to share the discipline, creative processes and also the forms that I have learned throughout these years of work on Broadway," says Luis Salgado, and adds, "a crucial point in this process of creation is the opportunity to connect my love for Latin America with my passion for Broadway. I am tying different dreams in one as we celebrate successfully the stories of our people in our own countries."

Salgado, who in addition to work with some of the most successful Broadway shows in the last years - as Choreographer Assistant of Latin rhythms in the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights, and as a dancer in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and The Mambo Kings - he has also worked as an artistic producer with his company Salgado Productions, having produced the show Amigo Duende, which premiered with overwhelming success in 2012.

He is also an active educator who firmly believes that art is the instrument for achieving a better quality of life in all sectors of society. "Dare to Go Beyond" is the mantra of R. Evolución Latina, the organization he founded 7 years ago. Last summer, Luis was in Cali, Colombia, providing workshops and training dancers in the various disciplines of musical theater. Upon his return from Lima, he will join the official cast of one of the shows that promises to be a Broadway sensation in 2014.
