For its annual benefit gala, Coyote StageWorks will present THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ERNEST (IN NEW YORK) by Oscar Wilde and adapted and directed by David Zippel, who gives the famed comedy of Victorian manners a modern twist as a story of New Yorkers obsessed with social position.

The gender-swapped production will star PIPPIN's Lucie Arnaz and HOT IN CLEVELAND's Wendie Malick. More casting to be announced.

Theatre lovers will relish the contemporary reflection of current society, just as the play's initial audiences did in 1895, when the star-studded cast performs this brilliant comedy on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Tickets for the benefit are $75 and $125 per person for performance only; $250 per person ticket includes VIP cast reception following performance. Click here for more information.

Voted Best Live Theater by Desert Magazine in 2013 and 2014, Coyote StageWorks also won a record 20 Desert Star Awards from the Desert Theatre League in October 2014, bringing the total award count to 60 since its first production in 2009.
