"Southern Fried Funeral" is being presented by Pull-Tight Players, 112 2nd Avenue S., Franklin, TN, 37064, February 5 - 20, 2016.

Written by local playwrights Osborne & Eppler, the stage production is six years removed from its first performance at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Franklin as a commission for community outreach through the Music and Arts area of the church. Since its inception, the play has been performed all across the country, most recently to sold-out crowds at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, a regional theater known for its superior productions in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Pull-Tight is proud to bring back to Franklin this locally grown play, especially with the playwriting success of former Pull-Tight artist member, Nate Eppler, who partnered with local playwright, director, and actor, Dietz Osborne on this play.

The cast for the talented production includes actors from the Franklin area and across Middle Tennessee: Debbie Robinson (Dorothy), Drew Ann Borsos (Martha Ann), Eric Crawford (Benny Charles), Janie Varn (Fairy June), Beth Henderson (Sammy Jo), Jennifer Bennett (Harlene), Jim Maden (Uncle Dub), Brett Myers (Atticus), Melissa Williams (Ozella), Seth McCraw (Beecham), and Jonathan Vander Molen (Dewey Jr.). The play is produced by Leslie Berra and directed by Johnny Peppers.

"Southern Fried Funeral" is presented February 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 19, 20 at 7:30pm, and on February 14 at 2:30pm. Tickets are available by visiting the Pull-Tight website at www.pull-tight.com or by calling the box office at (615) 791-5007.
