In her new book "A Boy Called Jack" (published by Trafford Publishing) author Lizzy Clarke takes young readers on a magical adventure into the forest, where two young heroes save the day.

"A Boy Called Jack" is about a young boy, Jack, who falls into the world of wild animals. With their help, he changes their environment and takes on the humans in a fight to stop disaster. On his adventure, he meets Stewart, who has lost his wife. He has been waiting for her in the forest, but as Jack convinces him to help in his quest, they both succeed in their mission.

"The story is about having courage in life to put things right. It will take you to the edge of your seat, and you will always want to know the ending," Clarke says. "It's a story for boys who enjoy the excitement in life and for the girls who like the romance in it."

Clarke has high hopes for her book. It teaches, she says, "That we all can achieve anything if we have hope and courage. That we can live together and work together to save our world and wildlife."
