Linda Maria Frank Award in '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'

Linda Maria Frank has moved on from finalist in the contest sponsored and created by The Author Show to the status of winner.

Frank was chosen as the result of a public voting process. Her work, entitled 'The Madonna Ghost: An Annie Tillery Mystery', is a mystery thriller for young readers that has received rave reviews from readers. Her award came as the result of her recent appearance on The Authors Show.

The winners were announced on The Author Show website on Dec. 5, 2013.

The next phase of the yearly contest is now beginning: publishing the 2013-2014 edition of the book "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading".

Frank's life-long career has been in teaching. She taught science, ending her career in the high school as Department Chairperson, teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She went on to teach at Hofstra University, forensic science and biotechnology, also supervising science student teachers at Adelphi University.
