Linda Eder Added to Starry Feinstein's Line-Up for April Show

Linda Eder has signed on to the starry 2006 cabaret season at Feinstein's at the Regency (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). Joining previously-announced stars such as Tony Danza, Faith Prince, Tom Wopat, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Sutton Foster, Michael Feinstein, Rebecca Luker and James Naughton in the line-up, she will perform at the luxe venue from April 4th through 8th.

Eder won a Theatre World Award (as well as Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations) for her performance in Jekyll & Hyde. Her last theatrical endeavor was starring in Frank Wildhorn's Camille Claudel at Goodspeed. Eder's many recordings include Linda Eder, It's No Secret Anymore, It's Time, Gold, And So Much More and By Myself: The Songs of Judy Garland. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and at many other concert venues.

Danza (The Iceman Cometh, "Who's The Boss?") will kick off the Feinstein's season; his act I'm Back will run from January 31st through February 11th. Lenny LaCroix will serve as musical director. Tony Award-winner Prince (Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing, Guys and Dolls) will next perform alongside leading man Wopat (Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, "The Dukes of Hazzard") in Let's Fall in Love from February 14th through 25th. Hart, the Broadway legend who turned 95 this year, will perform a return engagement from February 28th through March 4th. David Lewis will be the music director for her show, which is entitled Here's to Life.

Foster, who recently appeared in the Broadway-bound musical The Drowsy Chaperone and who won a Tony for her work in Thoroughly Modern Millie, will take her act, Let's Get Lost, to Feinstein's from March 7th through 18th. The month will conclude with Grammy-nominee Feinstein himself performing from March 31st through April 1st.

Carroll, who won a Tony Award for her performance in the Richard Rodgers musical No Strings and who also appeared in House of Flowers and the TV show "Julia," will share her act (called The Life and Times of Diahann Carroll) with audiences from April 18th through May 6th, while Tony Award-nominee Luker (Nine, The Music Man, Show Boat) will return to Feinstein's from May 9th through 20th as a follow-up to her recent hit appearance. Tony Award-winner Naughton (Chicago, City of Angels) will perform Looking for the Heart of Saturday Night from May 30th through June 10th.

Feinstein's will also feature a new Monday night line-up of shows that will be available for $25 and a two-drink minimum. Performing as part of the series will be jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli (Feb. 13th), cabaret star Bobby Belfry (Feb. 27th), Jane White (Once Upon a Mattress, Follies) on March 13th, jazz pianist and singer George Wein (March 30th), cabaret singer Tony DeSare (April 3rd), married performers Jason Danieley (The Full Monty, Candide) and Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime) on May 1st and May 8th, and Brandon Cutrell on June 5th.

Feinstein's at the Regency plays the following schedule: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 PM with late shows on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 PM. There will be no late shows on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 or March 3 and 4. All shows have a $60.00 cover and a $40.00 minimum; however, all shows on March 31 and April 1 will have a $75.00 cover. Jackets are suggested, but not required.
