This October, "something wicked this way rocks" when Libra Theater Company presents Monstersongs, an exciting new piece of theatre combining live rock concept-album and graphic novel-all from the point of view of misunderstood monsters. Featuring a score from award- wining composer/lyricist Rob Rokicki, additional lyrics by Joe Iconis, and illustrations by Dave O'Neill of the popular Shankman & O'Neill children's book series, the show is a silly, scary, heartbreaking, and hilarious multimedia experience.

Monstersongs features a talented ensemble cast directed by MK Lawson. Performers include Max Crumm, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Daniel Everidge, Bethany Fagan, Amanda Flynn, Kenny Franceour, Molly Hager, Drew B. James, Lauren Marcus, Megan Mekjian, Jeremy Morse, Rob Rokicki, Taylor Trensch, Victoria Weinberg, and Jason "Sweettooth" Williams. Additional casting will be announced soon.

Monstersongs will be performed Sunday, October 20th at (le) poisson rouge at 10 p.m. with doors opening at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To purchase tickets, visit www.libratheater.org or www.lepoissonrouge.com.
