For anyone who's looked at the night sky and felt seemingly alone yet utterly connected, there's Poems & Moon Songs. Presented by Libra Theater Company (2012 IT Award, "Outstanding Original Music"), Poems & Moon Songs is a journey through the soaring melodies and sharp style of rising composer Will Reynolds (The Greenwood Tree), linking his singular lyrical voice with some of the greatest poets of all time.

Directed by MK Lawson (Libra's The Entropy Songs), Poems & Moon Songs will feature Sara Jean Ford (How to Succeed…, A Little Night Music), Marissa McGowan (The Nutty Professor, Bonnie and Clyde), Drama Desk nominee Jeremy Morse (Bloodsong of Love, Libra's 12th Night), and Zachary Prince (On a Clear Day…, Baby It's You).

Poems & Moon Songs will be performed at The Underground Lounge, 955 West End Avenue (at 107th Street, near both the 103rd Street and 110th Street stops on the 1 train).

Saturday, November 10th at 7:30pm and 10:00pm

Sunday, November 11th at 7:30pm and 10:00pm

Monday, November 12th at 7:30pm

Tickets are $15. Please note that all ticket holders are also subject to a two-item minimum purchase at The Underground: anything from soda to a great cocktail to a burger or pizza.

To purchase tickets, go to Libra's website (www.libratheater.org) or go directly to the event ticketing page at https://www.artful.ly/store/events/536.

Libra Theater Company has decided to donate all profits from Poems & Moon Songs to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, for Hurricane Sandy relief.
