Leland Little Auction & Estate Sales, Ltd. announces the public auction of selected items from The Bob Timberlake Collection. This important event is scheduled for Friday, December 6 th at 1:00PM in Hillsborough, NC, and is a special session within the gallery's three-day Winter Catalogue Auction.

Bob Timberlake, an internationally acclaimed realist painter, furniture maker, author, and philanthropist, is primarily known for his watercolor paintings. His depiction of life in his native North Carolina has endeared his work to an international audience.

Mr. Timberlake has exhibited his work at numerous national and international galleries. Mr. Timberlake was the first Southerner to have a one-man exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. Along with Norman Rockwell, he exhibited at the 1974 Artists of America show in Philadelphia, PA. He has also exhibited four times with his mentor, Andrew Wyeth.

Notable offerings within this collection include six original works on paper by Mr. Timberlake, fourteen original works on paper by Andrew Wyeth, an important firearm collection including a selection of Parker Brothers Shotguns, and a collection of US Civil War period original works on paper and sketches. Over 400 lots will be offered on sale day.

Previews will be held on Saturday, November 30 th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, with gallery tours led by Bob Timberlake at 1:00 and 2:00 PM; and Thursday, December 5 th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
