Lee Lessack Brings CHANTEUR to Davenport's in Chicago Tonight, 7/12

Acclaimed recording artist Lee Lessack's national CD release tour takes him to Chicago's Davenport's, 1383 N. Milwaukee, tonight, July 12 at 8pm.

Celebrating the great French songbook from an American perspective, Lessack's new recording Chanteur and new concert has earned him accolades the world over. Directed by Tony Award nominee Brian Lane Green, Chanteur celebrates the music of such noted French composers as Michel Legrand, Jaques Brel, Gilbert Becaud and Charles Aznavour.

Chanteur marks Lessack's seventh recording and his fourth solo project. His most ambitious recording to date was 2005's In Good Company, an intimate collection of duets beams of?outstanding performances with music notables such as Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Stephen Schwartz.
