Starring Olivier Award- winning actress, Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland, The King & I tour) and Drew Gehling (Waitress, Jersey Boys), Scott & Zelda: An American Musical is a brand new jazz age musical based on the lives of F. Scott Fitzgerald, the hot Jazz Age novelist who wrote This Side of Paradise, The Beautiful and Damned, The Great Gatsby, Tender Is the Night, and The Last Tycoon, and his wife, Zelda.

This new musical tells the story of a young, beautiful southern belle who meets the handsome, twenty-one year old author at a dance on July 4, 1917. Scott & Zelda: An American Musical is ultimately about the two lovers rise, their fall, and their almost divine desire to rise once more ...together.

With a score that nods to Porter and Gershwin and a book that is captivating until the final curtain, Scott & Zelda: An American Musical is an old - fashioned musical told in a completely new, contemporary way. Featuring Frank Wildhorn at the piano with his world class band, this concert of Scott & Zelda: An American Musical is sure to be a memorable experience.

HELLO Entertainment presents Scott and Zelda : An American Musical - In Concert at Feinstein's / 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on November 10 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm . Multi -Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award nominated composer/producer Frank Wildhorn's works span the worlds of popular, theatrical, and classical music. In 1999, Frank became the first American composer in 22 years to have three shows running simultaneously on Broadway: Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War ( Tony Award nominated for Best Score ). Also for Broadway: Dracula, Victor / Victoria, Wonderland, Bonnie & Clyde (Tony Award nominated for Best Score), and the 2013 revival of Jekyll & Hyde.

Frank produced Harlem Song at the famed Apollo Theatre. International: Excalibur/Artus, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Count of Monte Cristo, Carmen, Rudolf, Mitsuko, Never Say Goodbye, Camille Claudel, Tears of Heaven, Death Note, and Mata Hari at the Moulin Rouge. Upcoming : The Man Who Laughs, Song of Bernadette, and Casanova. He wrote the song "Gold " , the opening number for the 2002 Winter Olympics, and received the prestigious Charles Dickens Award from USC, where there is a scholarship under his name.

MORE ABOUT Jack Murphy Jack Murphy has worked on a wide variety of projects as both lyricist and composer . Collaborating with composer and writing partner Frank Wildhorn , he wrote lyrics for Linda Eder's EMI CD , Atlantic CDs , as well as her new release on Sony. Jack has written and performed albums for many record labels including A&M, Verve , MGM, Elektra , Columbia and ABC Dunhill, and was a staff writer for United Artists Music. Jack has collaborated with composer Frank Wildhorn on numerous projects, including Scott and Zelda .

In collaboration with Frank Wildhorn and Gregory Boyd of the Alley Theater in Houston, Texas, he wrote the lyrics for The Civil War, which garnered him a Tony Nomination for Best Score when it debuted on Broadway at the St. James Theater. He was back on Broadway again at the St . James Theater with two songs penned for the hit show , Swing. Frank and Jack came together again for Wonderland, which premiered on Broadway in 2011. The pair has had international success as well with credits including Rudolf, Carmen, and The Count of Monte Cristo. Currently in the works for the two is Havana, directed by Sergio Trujillo.
