Comedians Lani Harms and Sarah Nedwek will perform their hilarious solo comedies, The Britney Network and The Immaculate Deception for two shows only Feb. 2 and Feb. 5 at The PIT Loft.

These shows premiered at the 2016 SOLOCOM Festival, presented by The People's Improv Theater and award-winning solo artist, Peter Michael Marino (Desperately Seeking the Exit).

What to expect...

In THE BRITNEY NETWORK, cultural icon and the original pop princess, Ms. Britney Spears, is launching her very own television network! This local-access channel has been curated by Britney Spears herself, and features programs about the women and hobbies that are most important to Britney. Like Oprah's OWN, but it's Britney, b*tch. Written and performed by Lani Harms (LATE NIGHT WITH LANI, featured in Time Out New York's Best Events in Comedy), directed by Chrissy Shackelford (Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater's Characters Welcome and Diane Shangri-La Presents: Not Dry Yet), and sound designed by M.L. Dogg (Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's OH, HELLO! on Broadway).

In THE IMMACULATE DECEPTION, Sarah invites us to a baby shower gone awry, in which her eggs and the sperm they've encountered come to life sharing their procreating proclivities. This hilarious autobiographical night of storytelling shows how our body parts have minds of their own. Written and performed by Sarah Nedwek and directed by Kelly McCready (Hedda Gabler, Ophelia Theatre). Nedwek's credits include the original solo comedy, Sarah Smiles, which premiered at SOLOCOM 2015 directed by Sarah Nowak, Vanda in Venus in Fur at the Repertory Theatre of St.Louis for which she won Broadway World's Best Actress in a Drama, directed by Seth Gordon and Dolores in Dolores directed by Timothy Koch (Broadway's Cripple of Irishman). She is also co-founder and Artistic Director of Partly Cloudy People, a theatre company that produces plays to raise awareness and funds for area non-profits. Their latest show, The Seedling Project, explored unplanned pregnancy and raised funds for Planned Parenthood.
