Music icons Lesley Gore and "Little" Peggy March, Legendary Ladies of Rock & Roll, will perform their chart-topping songs on the Suncoast Showroom stage May 10 and 11.

Lesley Gore is most recognized for "It's My Party," a song that catapulted her to stardom in 1963 at the age of 16. With more than two-dozen hit songs to her credit, Gore's legendary voice and music helped create the soundtrack of the 60s. Other prevalent Gore songs include, "Judy's Turn to Cry," "She's A Fool," "That's the Way Boys Are" and "You Don't Own Me."

Beyond years as a recording artist, Gore has appeared on the popular television programs "The Donna Reed Show," "Murphy Brown" and "Batman." Having also appeared in several musical theater productions, Gore starred on Broadway in "Smokey Joe's Café" in 1999.

"Little" Peggy March launched her career at the age of 13 when she signed with RCA Records. Her career skyrocketed when her song "I Will Follow Him" hit the airwaves in 1964, making her the youngest female artist with a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1984, a song she co-wrote for Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora, "When the Rain Begins to Fall," was a No. 1 hit in Germany, France, The Netherlands and Switzerland.

March's single "I Wish I Were a Princess" hit the film scene and was featured in the original '80s movie, "Hairspray." Most recently, in 2010, March released her first album of new original songs in more than 30 years, titled "Always and Forever."

Showtime each evening is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available from $15.95, plus tax and fees. Tickets can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming box office, by calling 702.636.7075, or visiting www.suncoastcasino.com.
