LOMBARDI, the new American play opening on Broadway this Thursday October 21 will be featured on National Public Radio's "It's Only A Game" at 7 AM tomorrow Sat Oct 16 on WSOU 89.9 FM, and WKCR 90.9 FM in New York, and on Sun Oct 17 at 7 AM and 2 PM on Sirius XM /Channel 133. The show's Tony Award nominated director Thomas Kail, and Pulitzer Prize-winner David Maraniss, upon whose book the play is based were interviewed by Bill Littlefield.

Dan Lauria and Judith Light star as Vince and Marie Lombardi. The cast features Keith Nobbs as Michael McCormick, Bill Dawes as Paul Hornung, Robert Christopher Riley as Dave Robinson and Chris Sullivan as Jim Taylor.

LOMBARDI is an original play by Academy Award-winning playwright Eric Simonson, based on the best-selling biography When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi by David Maraniss. Joining producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser as special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway.
