"Letters from England: a memoir" (Brown Books Publishing Group) by Conita Jernigan Lyle of Dallas, Texas invites readers to explore the immeasurable impact a single decision can have on an entire life - a rousing tale of romance, travel, and destiny.

"Not all people who come into your life are meant to stay in your life," says Lyle. "But they each have a hand in shaping your future."

Was there ever a decision you made that had the power to change the course of your life?

As a young woman, Conita (Coco) made the decision to head overseas for a year abroad. She had no way of knowing she was setting the course for the rest of her life.

"Letters from England" reads like a Nicholas Sparks novel. The compelling love story is told through real letters, postcards and photographs accompanied by lyrical narrative passages.

Explore a life placed in the hands of fate in the 1960s.

As Coco's story illustrates, choices matter more than we could ever realize at the time.

Her saga compels readers to ask themselves, "What decisions have I made that decided the rest of my life?" and "Is each choice simply a step in a direction that has already been mapped out by fate?"

Imbued with the author's carefree spirit, this one-of-a-kind book evokes a feeling of nostalgia, perfectly capturing an era in American and European history, while also exploring the human heart's thirst for love and adventure.

Life is a mystery to be pursued to the end...
