Concrete Timbre, Inc. presents Last Saturdays Salon # 1 - Reunion, the first of an eight-concert series of new music, sound, words, & images by composers wanting to develop their art by working outside their comfort zone to create challenging new compositions, in an intimate setting at The Drawing Room (56 Willoughby St. between Jay and Lawrence) in Downtown Brooklyn on January 31, 2015 at 8:00 pm. The Last Saturdays Salon series continues the last Saturday of January through May, and September through November, 2015. Ann Warren is the Producing Artistic Director and Whitney George is Musical Director.

Last Saturdays Salon # 1 - Reunion features the return of many Concrete Timbre affiliated artists and features music ranging from jazz to classical. Composers Kyoko Oyobe (piano), Manuela Lechler (Alto Sax), Ivy Adrian (piano), Ann Warren (bass clarinet), and Milica Paranosic perform their own compositions along with Aleksandra Miglowiec (flute), Christopher Hall (Bass) and Joe Tucker (Percussion).

The Last Saturdays Salon series is designed to provide opportunities to create new compositions of new music, sound, words, & images by artists wanting to develop their art by working outside their comfort zone to create challenging new compositions, all in an intimate setting. Future performances of Last Saturdays Salon take place the last Saturday evening of the month at 8:00 pm, January through May and September through November 2015 at The Drawing Room (56 Wiloughby Street, between Jay & Lawrence, in Downtown Brooklyn. Subway A, C, F, N, R to Jay Street, 2,3, 4,5 to Borough Hall).

Concrete Timbre is a composer-driven performance collective. The foundation of our art is to add to the contemporary music canon with bold interdisciplinary performances by creating opportunities for composers to work in multidisciplinary settings that often defy categorization.
