LAByrinth Theater Company (John Ortiz, Artistic Director; Philip Seymour Hoffman, Co-Artistic Director; John Gould Rubin, Co-Artistic Director & Executive Director) will present a special reading of BITTER HONEY II by Eric Bogosian, a benefit evening of more underperformed and never performed Bogosiana, for three performances only, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. and June 3 at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., in The Anspacher Theater at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street at Astor Place). All proceeds will benefit LAByrinth Theater Company.

Eric Bogosian will reach into his archives for BITTER HONEY II, and unearth seldom performed monologues from Drinking in America, Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll, Pounding Nails in the Floor With My Forehead and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee - plus some exciting never-before-performed material.

In putting together this special benefit evening, Eric Bogosian said "I support LAByrinth Theater because they're cool, fun, energized, devoted and fearless. They are not afraid to take big chances and make big theater."

Mr. Bogosian became a LAByrinth Company Member in 2005, the same year in which he played 'Satan' in Stephen Adly Guirgis's The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. He regularly appears as the referee for Celebrity Charades, LAByrinth's annual gala benefit and, most recently, he read the role of 'Sabbatai Svi,' the false Messiah, in LAByrinth's staged reading of David Bar Katz's Burning, Burning, Burning, Burning at the Barn Series festival 2008.

Single tickets for BITTER HONEY II are priced at $25 for Unreserved General Admission, benefiting LAByrinth Theater Company. Get the best seats and support LAByrinth with a special "Sweet Seat" priced at $125 that includes guaranteed reserved seating and a swag bag of limited-edition Bogosiana ($100 is tax-deductible).

A limited number of $25 Rush Tickets will be available for purchase 1 hour prior to each performance. Cash only. Limit 2 per person.
