"It's Jerry Herman meets Salavador Dali as Kristine Zbornik takes you on a musical romp through the inner workings of her brain.  It's fun (like a haunted house), inspiring (like Jesus) and uncomfortable (like a bra that cuts into your back fat).  You'll leave being glad you're still you.  Or are you?," state press materials.  "Kristine, joined by musical director Bobby Peaco and two blow up dolls dressed as effigies of her two dead fathers, brought the first rendering of this show to the Metropolitan Room for two performances in December.  The crowds leapt from their seats and ran from the club shouting.  They realized they had stumbled on to something and decided to bring it back for 8 more performances.  The show includes 2 or 3 of her well-worn favorites ('Some People,' 'I Gotta Be Me' and one piece picked out of hat) as well as seven new pieces. To say anymore would be giving away the plot except that the show recently won the 2007 Bistro Award for Best Musical Comedy."

Zbornik's credits include Mamma Mia!, Las Vegas (Rosie) for one year, The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun (Mother Helen Lawson), Zorba at Reprise! Directed by David Lee; Forbidden Broadway original casts of Cleans Up Its Act and 20th Anniversary; Funny Girl Concert at The New Amsterdam Theatre (Mrs. Meeker), Man of La Mancha (the housekeeper) at Goodspeed Opera House; Off-Broadway: Splendora (Sue Ella Lightfoot), I Will Come Back; Balancing Act, and An Evening With Joan Crawford. She wrote and created solo and original shows with Michael Schiralli, Jason Robert Brown, Jackie Hoffman, Seth Rudetsky, and Varla Jean Merman (the gender illusionist, i.e., drag queen) which have been performed in venues large and small around New York, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco and Atlantic City.

The show is $20 with a two-drink minimum.  Call 212 206 0440 for reservations.
