As BWW previously reported, according to a statement by Chenoweth's promoter, JAM Theatricals, the Broadway actor and TV star is ill. Chenoweth also canceled yesterday's Chicago appearance. Both shows will be rescheduled for later this month, and tickets for the original performances will be honored for the new dates. Refunds are also available.

Chenoweth's promoter stated that further information would be available as of Monday or Tuesday.

Kristin Chenoweth's first-ever world tour opened in Seattle on May 9 and has been roving North America since. Chenoweth's cast features Tyler Hanes (who did DANCING WITH THE STARS with her), Chelsea Packard (who was in PROMISES, PROMISES with her) and Will Taylor, who she saw in THE PRODUCERS. The concert tour is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by Mary Mitchell Campbell.
