Kodak's 'A CHRISTMAS CAROL' Loses Two Big Stars
There have been two last minute cast changes for 'The Christmas Carol' performance at the Kodak Theater. The Kodak website has announced that Jane Seymour has cancelled due to illness, and due to limited tech time, a special appearance by Gene Wilder in a hologram will not be used. A supporting actor will be playing Marley's Ghost.
According to the LA Times, "Seymour came down with 'a severe bronchial infection' that she felt would hinder her performance" and that Wilder "was removed from the show 'because the producers decided that it would not be effective in the production.'"
These unexpected cast changes could certainly put a damper on those who have already purchased tickets for the show; however, the Kodak website does state that artists are subject to change.
The show will still star John Goodman and Jane Leeves, as well as Christopher Lloyd as Ebenezer Scrooge.
The show will run until Sunday January 4th, and tickets are still available.
