Last night (Tuesday, Dec.31), LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino welcomed the stunning pop artist Keri Hilson as she rang in the New Year at the Las Vegas hot spot. The star headed into the packed nightclub just before midnight where she was greeted by hundreds of her fans. Hilson was a vision in white, wearing a short lace jump suit, layered silver statement jewelry and sky-high Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps to accentuate her slim figure.
Drawing closer to midnight, the attention of the nearly sold out venue hit center stage where she got on the mic to start the countdown. With a glass of champagne in hand, the gorgeous songstress raised her glass to all in the room to toast to the New Year as the clock for 2013 hit its last second. Confetti surrounded the main stage as Hilson posed for photos and wished "Happy New Year" to those around her.
Just before Hilson began her performance, DJ Mars, her personal MC, pumped up the crowd playing throwback remixes by her producer and close friend Timbaland. As she began her powerful set at 12:30 a.m., Hilson welcomed her fans by saying "Happy New Year's everyone...who's ready to party with me tonight?" "Let me hear you sing with me on this one LAX," as she started in with her hit record "The Way I Are."
Cheers were heard from around the main room as Hilson let the crowd finish the last few lyrics while making her way down the main stairway to get up close and personal to her fans.
Continuing her performance, the lovely singer began her fan favorite "Turnin' Me On" followed by her final song, where she began to pick four lucky ladies to join her on stage. She said, "This one is for all my pretty girls out there," and then began her empowering anthem "Pretty Girl Rock" as her female supporters provided backup vocals to the popular track.
The gracious vocalist had LAX Nightclub on their feet as she put on an awe-inspiring performance for the hot spot's New Year's Eve celebration. Before making her way back to her VIP booth, she thanked her fans for all of their love and support and paused for a moment before saying, "LAX...I'm coming back this year," teasing what will come in the New Year. After leaving the main stage, she reached out to touch the hands of her thrilled followers and sipped champagne with her entourage for the remainder of the evening.
