The initial iteration of ORANGE STAR enjoyed a three-month, sold-out run in Los Angeles, at the Evidence Room Theater. A wild and hilarious spectacle, the musical follows Mama (Lorinne Lampert-INJUNCTION GRANTED), the impresario of a Wyoming dinner theater called Orange Star Dinner Show. There she has tried to live out her fantasy of turning her children Orange Star (Lauren Elder-SIDE SHOW, HAIR), Green Clover(Kenny Wade Marshall-PIRATES OF PENZANCE), and Yellow Moon (Vaden Thurgood) into the next Andrews Sisters trio. But tonight, Green Clover is finally over it! She resentfully sabotages Orange's dinner show and reveals a big secret to all. The rest of the family, with big secrets of their own, attempt to keep up appearances as they reel from the drama. After all. the dinner show must go on!
