Internationally recognized stage and screen star Kathleen Turner displays a heretofore unheard talent byway of crooning a tune or two in a new promotional featurette just released for her upcoming starring turn in Bertolt Brecht's celebrated political drama with music, MOTHER COURAGE.

The score for Arena Stage's production of MOTHER COURAGE was composed by James Sugg, who comments on the actress and how he tailor-made the score for her vast abilities in the new clip.

"Don't let her fool you - Kathleen is a musician," Sugg says of the 13-song score composed for the new production and the star performing much of it.

Sugg also reveals of the hotly anticipated regional production, "This is going to be a very actor-generated live experience."

Additionally, Sugg confirms, "It's going to kick ass!"

So, how does she sound? As sexy - and commanding - as one would imagine... and then some!
