The Winter Park Playhouse features veteran actress and vocal artist Kate O'Neal in the popular Spotlight Cabaret Series July 15 and 16, 2015. Ms. O'Neal will premiere her new cabaret, which will feature all genres of music- musical theater, standards, opera, pop and country - including all of the songs she has loved performing and some she has always longed to sing. Kate will be accompanied by the Playhouse Musical Director, Christopher Leavy.

Ms. O'Neal, whose critically-acclaimed performance in the Playhouse's most recent musical, Stephen Sondheim's Putting It Together, will once again delight and astound audiences with her versatile and comedic style. Kate has also been seen at The Winter Park Playhouse in Midlife, the Crisis Musical, Musical of Musicals the Musical, and in cabaret with Kevin Kelly.

Kate is an improvisational actress who has performed for the last 20 years at professional theaters from NY to Miami. Before transitioning to the theater, Kate enjoyed a career as a professional singer in a band and opened for such artists as Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, and Alan Jackson.

General Admission tickets are $20 plus a one drink minimum. Once sold out, a limited number of "Standing Room Only" tickets are available for $10. Seating is limited so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a 7:30 pm cabaret.
