KINKY BOOTS, CINDERELLA, MOTOWN, PIPPIN and More Set for Broadway/San Diego's 2014-15 Season

Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation is excited to announce the new 2014-2015 season chock-full of top award-winning productions including fifteen Tony Awards, and four Grammy Awards for Best Musical Theater Album -and six shows currently playing on Broadway! This year's powerful season lineup will be presented at the beautiful San Diego Civic Theatre and sponsored by San Diego County Credit Union.

Kicking off this season is Broadway's new high-heeled hit, KINKY BOOTS, the winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Score for Grammy-winner Cyndi Lauper. Also coming home to San Diego is the much anticipated return of JERSEY BOYS which premiered at La Jolla Playhouse and went on to win four Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards, PIPPIN is back on tour for the first time since it thrilled audiences 40 years ago. It is time to get the whole family together for the long-awaited lush production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA and Broadway/San Diego takes you back in time with iconic tunes from the past in DIRTY DANCING-The Classic Story on Stage and for the first time in San Diego, one man's story became everyone's music in MOTOWN THE MUSICAL.

With the return of JERSEY BOYS, La Jolla Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley said "Ten years ago, La Jolla Playhouse launched a soaring new musical that rocked our patrons to their core.
