Mad Horse Theatre Company is proud to present the second show of our 29th season, KIMBERLY AKIMBO by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.

Set in the wilds of suburban New Jersey, KIMBERLY AKIMBO is a hilarious and heartrending play about a teenager with a rare condition causing her body to age much faster than it should -- rendering her an adolescent in a geriatric body. When she and her family flee Secaucus under dubious circumstances, Kimberly is forced to reevaluate her life while contending with a hypochondriac mother, a rarely sober father, a scam-artist aunt, her own mortality and, most terrifying of all, the possibility of first love.

Company member Nate Speckman directs a stellar cast of company members and guest artists that includes: Burke Brimmer, Shannon Campbell, Tom Campbell, Janice Gardner, and Tootie Van Reenan.

Performances run Thursday - Sunday, January 22 -- March 8, 2015, playing Thursday-Saturday, 7:30pm and Sundays, 2pm. All Thursdays are, as always, Pay-What-You-Can!
