According to showbizspy.com, Jude Law, who most recently starred on Broadway in Shakespeare's HAMLET, will play a blogger in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller, Contagion.

Law states that he will play "kind of unbridled blogger who's a sort of scaremonger" according to showbizspy.com. The website also reports that the movie will not be made until later this year because Law has "a lot of deep character work [he has] got to do to get there."

Showbizspy.com reports that the movie is about "a disease outbreak involving the Center for Disease Control." Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon and Gwenyth Paltrow are set to co-star.
