Journey's End, the revival of the R.C. Sheriff play, will close on Sunday, June 10th after a run of 15 previews and 125 performances.

Directed by David Grindley, the play stars Hugh Dancy, Boyd Gaines, Jefferson Mays, and Stark Sands. The play just received 6 2007 Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Play, Best Director of a Play, Best Leading Actor in a Play (Boyd Gaines) and Best Featured Actor in a Play (Stark Sands). Additional Tony nods went for Best Scenic Design and Best Lighting Design.  Other notable awards for Journey's End have included Best Play Revival from the Outer Critics Circle; a Special Citation from the New York Drama Critics Circle.

Boyett/Ostar Productions , Stephanie McClelland, Bill Rollnick, James D'Orta and Philip Geier are presenting Journey's End, which enjoyed an acclaimed run in London in 2004.  "Based on a true experience of friendship, bonding and survival, Sheriff's play is set in a trench in St. Quentin, France, and follows a group of British officers awaiting their day of reckoning," as described in press materials.

Performance schedule is Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM; matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 3 pm. Journey's End is playing at the Belasco Theatre, 120 West 44th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
