Josh Peck to Join John Stamos in Fox Comedy Pilot

According to Deadline, Josh Peck has signed on to join John Stamos in an upocoming, untitled FOX comedy pilot for the 2015-16 season.

In the project, "Stamos plays Jimmy, a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he's a father - and a grandfather. [Peck] plays the the son Jimmy didn't know he had - a sweet unemployed techie who is himself the proud and surprisingly capable father of a two-year-old daughter, the product of a one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa."

Stamos will also serve as an executive producer along Danny Chun, who penned the pilot and 'Galavant's Dan Fogelman.

Stamos, best known for his role as 'Uncle Jessie' in ABC's "Full House," most recently appeared on TV in ABC's Galavant. The actor's Broadway credits include the Tony Award-winning "NINE." and the Broadway revival of 'Bye Bye Birdie.' His Broadway debut came in 1997's "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and, in 2000, he starred as the Emcee in "Caberet," which was very well received.

His recent film credits include the independent films I Am Stamos and Knots. Through his St. Amos banner, Stamos has many television projects in the works, including the TV Movie "Dillinger" for TNT, and co-producing a feature film version of the TV Classic "The Jeffersons" for Sony. Additional producing credits include an Emmy nomination in 2000 for co-producing the ABC miniseries "Beach Boys: An American Family" and the highly rated CBS telefilm "Martin & Lewis."

Not limiting himself to behind-the-camera work, he recently appeared in the ABC comedy "Jake in Progress." In 2001, he starred in the ABC romantic comedy "Thieves" about a pair of master thieves who become covert government agents.
