Josephine Rose Roberts Replaces Lauren Molina in ROCK OF AGES Beginning Tonight, 8/2

Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical, ROCK OF AGES announced that Josephine Rose Roberts will take over the role of "Regina," beginning tonight, Monday, August 2, 2010 at 8pm. Roberts comes to Broadway after playing the role of "Regina" at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. She takes over the role from Lauren Molina, who played her final performance Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 7:30pm.

Josephine Rose Roberts was last seen on Broadway in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. She most recently played "Regina" in the Toronto production of Rock of Ages.

The music that ignited a generation is heating up Broadway in the smash hit, ROCK OF AGES. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's best party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as Every Rose Has Its Thorn, I Wanna Know What Love Is, Here I Go Again, Don't Stop Believin' and more. This hilarious five-time Tony nominated musical is nothin' but a good time.

ROCK OF AGES is written by Chris D'Arienzo (writer and director of the upcoming film Barry Munday), directed by Kristin Hanggi (Bare, Pussycat Dolls on the Sunset Strip) and choreographed by Kelly Devine (Jersey Boys - Associate Choreographer).
