Take a step back in time to the late 1950's and early 60's, when the air waves were filled with country western legend Patsy Cline's songs like "Crazy," "Sweet Dreams," and "I Fall to Pieces" as Joni Morris offers her Tribute to the Music of Patsy Cline at Harris Center for the Arts. Full of music and comedy, Joni Morris shines with true showmanship and authentic sound in this tribute to glamour girl of country who captivated fans with a soul-stirring voice and a flamboyant personality.

Stockton resident Joni Morris offers spectacular stage productions that appeal to audiences of all ages and have received rave reviews from coast to coast for her tributes. "Morris Has Cline Down Pat" declares the newspaper headlines from the San Francisco Examiner of Joni's most recent performance there. The San Francisco Chronicle's Date Book Section reads "It's Patsy All Over Again" of her re-creation of the country and western legend, Patsy Cline, at the bay area's Alcazar Theatre and "It's a Solid Gold Smash" exclaims the Modesto Bee.

Joni Morris: A Tribute to the Music of Patsy Cline will be performed on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2 & 7:30 pm, and Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2 pm. Tickets are $19-$39. Tickets are available online at www.harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.

Morris was born in Modesto, CA, and raised in Stockton, where she resides today. She began her career playing the fair circuit with her sister, Donna, as a vocal duo, the Morris Sisters. In 1993, she portrayed Cline in Columbia Actors Repertory's production of Always Patsy Cline. She has appeared on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and at other notable venues.

She has toured nationally for more than fifteen years presenting tributes to the music of Patsy Cline, Connie Francis, Legendary Ladies in Country Music, Christmas Shows, and Joni's own original music. No matter who she is honoring, Joni sings each song brilliantly, adding dazzling costumes and comedy too. However, nothing shines so bright as her ability to connect with her audience. She works the crowd better than a Las Vegas crooner. Her audience interaction wins her fans wherever she performs.

Morris has a special fondness for Patsy's music. Joni says, "Patsy Cline recorded some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life, I never tire of singing them. These songs should never be forgotten!" Cline became the first female solo artists elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993.

Joni has released six albums throughout her career, including her original music with hit song, "It's Hold Me Time." She is very excited to announce that she now offers a live DVD production of her Tribute to Legendary Ladies show. It's now available to concert audiences everywhere along with her Joni Morris-A Portrait of Patsy CD.
