Jonathan Groff Discusses Singing On Screen & LOOKINGBroadway and Hollywood star Jonathan Groff opens up about singing onscreen and the new season of his HBO drama series LOOKING as part of a new interview.

Discussing what initially attracted him to the role of Patrick on the gay-themed series and how he related to the part, Groff shares, "The character felt close to me than anything I had ever worked on before."

Elaborating, Groff muses, "The struggle trying to figure out where he fits in the gay community and I have felt that myself. What does it mean to be gay? How gay am I? Does my voice sound gay?"

Furthermore, Groff opines that Patrick is likely not someone who shares his triple-threat abilities.

"I love to sing but I'm so excited that I don't sing on the the show... I feel Patrick would be a horrendous singer," Groff says.

Additionally, as for what we can expect from Season 2, Groff relays, "I think Patrick has a lot to learn."
