Jon Peterson will revive Song Man, Dance Man on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:00 at Stage 72 at The Triad, 158 west 72nd Street near Broadway.

Truly by popular demand, Jon Peterson returns to New York with his spectacular one-man show, Song Man, Dance Man. This is a one-night only performance by one of today's most acclaimed and extraordinary artists.

George M Cohan, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr, Anthony Newley ... What did these seven great entertainers have in common? They were simply the very best at their craft. And they did it all. Between them they acted, sang, danced, directed, wrote the plays, the librettos, the songs, and one of them invented the modern musical!

Here is SONG MAN DANCE MAN, a 90-minute roller coaster ride through their lives, telling of each man's discovery, rise, peak and inevitable decline, of their struggles, joys, vision and sense of magic that it once was to see them light up a stage.

With 23 of the songs and dances associated with them woven in and through the story of their lives, Jon Peterson (Emcee in Broadways latest revival of "Cabaret" and Drama Desk Award nominee for his portrayal of George M Cohan in Chip Deffaa's George M. Cohan Tonight!) will take you on a magical journey. It is unlike any other showcase today.

Jon Peterson in "SONG MAN DANCE MAN" plays Tuesday May 7th at 7pm, at STAGE 72 at The Triad Theatre located at 158 W 72nd Street (between Broadway & Columbus). There will be a $20 music charge plus a 2-drink minimum (cash only at the door). For Advance Tickets: Brownpapertickets.com or call 1 (800) 838-3006.
