John Tiffany (Once, MacBeth) will direct The National Theatre of Scotland and Marla Rubin Productions's stage version of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN at Dundee Rep Theatre, opening June 8, and running through June 29.

The play, based on the novel and film by John Ajvide Lindquist, will be adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne. The cast will feature Rebecca Benson, Paul Thomas Hickey, Lorraine M McIntosh, Angus Miller, Cristian Ortega, Martin Quinn, Chris Reilly, Stuart Ryan and Ewan Stewart.

According to National Theater of Scotland's web site, the play is described as "a tender, funny and brutal love story following the burgeoning relationship between Oskar, a lonely bullied teenaged boy and Eli, a centuries-old vampire who befriends him."

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director John Tiffany (Black Watch, Once) heads up a world-class creative team including Olivier Award-winning associate director Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, Beautiful Burnout, American Idiot).
