John Putch's award-winning follow up film to ROUTE 30, entitled ROUTE 30, TOO! will have its York Premiere February 16th & 17th at the Strand-Capitol Theater in downtown York.

In 2009, John Putch brought his first film in the trilogy, Route 30 to York, and now he's back with the outrageously wacky sequel, which stars Beth Behrs of the hit show 2 Broke Girls, Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Risky Business, Ray), Robert Romanus (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Bad Medicine) & Jamie Rose (of TV’s Falcon Crest).

The new film centers around the mystical Pond Bank road, where Ghost and Alien activity has been rumored. “The White Woman was so popular in the first film, that I decided to bring her back in part 2. She is a pivotal character that helps expose strange Alien activity around Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and Candy Outlet..”

Route 30 is the first transcontinental highway that stretches coast to coast and passes through York. Putch chose the Lincoln Highway to set his trilogy on because it runs right through his home town of Fayetteville, PA. The film has racked up a few film festival awards since it debuted in Chambersburg last September. Including Best Feature at Blue Ridge Music and Film Festival in Virginia, Best Director at Iowa’s Landlocked film festival & Best Feature from the Oregon Film Awards.

Returning cast members include Lee Wilkof (Rotten Egg), MISTER ED (Himself), Curtis Armstrong (Deerhunter Bob), Dan Poole (Stickle), DAVID COWGILL (Tork), WIL LOVE (Jackie Flat), Robert RomanUS (Ghosthunter Dick), CHRISTINE ELISE McCARTHY (Realtor Jocelyn), St. Thomas native, ALICIA FUSTING (Candy) and DARRELL VAUGHT (Squick).

New cast members include Beth Behrs (AlienGirl) fresh off her new CBS sitcom ‘2 Broke Girls’, Pittsburgh’s own BRIGID RYAN (Mean Mary), JAMIE ROSE, from TV’s Falcon Crest (Ghost-hunter Dot).

Although this film is part of a trilogy, it is a stand alone movie. Enjoying it does not require having seen the first one. PUTCH and cast members MISTER ED, Dan Poole, BRIGID RYAN, Ray Ficca & ALICIA FUSTING will attend the premiere at the Strand-Capitol Theater and participate in the post show panel Q&A.

The first 50 people admitted to each show will receive a free movie poster and DVDs of both films will be available for purchase at a special venue discount. The cast will also be available for autographing signings after the shows.

SHOWTIMES:
Sat. Feb 16th at 7PM
Sun Feb 17th at 3PM
