The Revival, Hyde Park's comedy theater, announces its lineup of shows and events playing in June 2017.

Inspired by the legacy of the Compass Players, The Revival brings improvisational comedy back to the same corner where it was invented in 1955!

A poetry, theatre, and music showcase.

Post-grad jobs. Studying abroad. Out to sea. Home, to bed. Back in time. To the future. In our final showcase of the year, we'll be reflecting on where we are and where we've been in order to answer the most difficult question of all: Where do we go? Join us for poems, music, dance, scenes, and collaborative art pieces from The Underground.

The Hutchins Plan is named for early twentieth century University of Chicago President RoBert Maynard Hutchins. Featuring "Special Guests" from across the College, the performance begins with an extemporaneous monologue that inspires a series of interconnected scenes.
