John Barrowman Among Upcoming Guest Hosts for G4's ATTACK THE SHOW

As summer winds down, G4's ATTACK OF THE SHOW! is heating up with a bevy of talented guest hosts joining Candace Bailey and Sara Underwood as your ambassadors to the information age. Each week, a new guest host will take the mantle and provide viewers with all news, laughs and reviews they need to keep a finger on the pulse of pop-culture. Guest hosts and schedule is as follows:

Week of August 20 - Neal Brennan: comedian/producer/writer and co-creator of "Chappelle's Show."

Week of August 27 - Michael Ian Black: comedian/producer/writer/actor and author for the upcoming book, "America, You Sexy Bitch: A Love Letter to Freedom."

Week of September 3 - John Barrowman: Actor from the critically acclaimed Syfy original 'Torchwood' and recently announced as a cast member for CW's 'Arrow,' Barrowman hosted for G4's Comic-Con alongside Candace Bailey earlier this year.

Barrowman has played lead roles in musicals both in the West End and on Broadway, including Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard and Matador. After appearing in Sam Mendes' production of The Fix, he was nominated for the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical and, in the early 2000s, returned to the role of Billy Crocker in the revival of Anything Goes. He recently appeared in the 2009 West End production of La Cage aux Folles.

Barrowman is known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness on 'Doctor Who' and 'Torchwood.' He has also released several albums, including 'Music Music Music,' 'Another Side,' and 'Swings Cole Porter.

Week of September 10 - Kumail Nanjiani: actor on 'Franklin and Bash' and host of The Nerdist Channel's web show, "The Indoor Kids."

Week of September 17 - Dave Holmes: comedian/host/actor who earned his hosting chops on MTV before stints on Reno: 911 and DVD on TV.

Week of September 24 - Ben Schwartz: The infamous 'Jean Ralphio' on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" as well as a cast member for Showtime's "House of Lies."
