Coming off her triumphant return to Danny's last year after a nearly 25-year hiatus, celebrated singer/story-teller Joanne Beretta returns March 7 to Any Wednesday to captivate audiences with her program of theater, cabaret, and folk rock songs. Accompanied by pianist/songwriter Franklin Underwood in concert and on her new CD, "Love Life," Beretta draws from Noel Coward, Frank Loesser, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen for a show as grand as her legendary Greenwich performances in the '60s and '70s.

"Any Wednesday, a series that celebrates the best in cabaret, jazz and Broadway music, takes place each week in the comfortable and spacious
third floor events space at the Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble at 66th and Broadway," state press notes. Performances begin at 6:00 PM, last approximately a half hour, and are followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the artist.

Next week  Any Wednesday presents jazz vocalist/pianist Tony DeSare, and upcoming performers include Mary Foster Conklin (April 18), Terese
Genecco with Barry Lloyd (April 25), Steven Brinberg and guests (May 9), Louise Rogers (May 16), Maude Maggart (May 30). All shows are free and open to the public.
