Jimmy Ferraro's Studio Theatre Presents THE LEGENDARY BOBBY DARIN This Weekend

After the SOLD-OUT, return of the musical comedy, "AIN'T RETIREMENT GRAND", Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey,FL presents, "THE LEGENDARY BOBBY DARIN", Las Vegas-style tribute concert event, for a limited THREE performance engagement this weekend, July 10th, 11th and 12th, to kick off the new "SIZZLING Summer Cabaret Series". The 2 act musical stars MIKE MATHEWS, the Copacbana Dancers, and a special guest vocalist. Opening Night is Friday, July 10th and the production runs Saturday evening, July 11th and Sunday matinee , July 12th Opening Night Performance:

"THE LEGENDARY BOBBY DARIN", tells the story of Bobby Darin's short but remarkable life through his smash hit songs, stories, and multimedia interviews and archival footage of Darin himself, his star wife, Sandra Dee, Dick Clark, and many others. BOBBY DARIN was one of the most popular Rock & Roll teen idols of the late 1950's.

He had multi-million selling recordings including "SPLISH SPLASH", "DREAM LOVER", "MACK THE KNIFE", and "BEYOND THE SEA".

Of star Michael Mathews, "Mack Is Back!" says the Official Bobby Darin Fan Club. "Born For The Role", "King Charisma", and "A true entertainer" have also been written of Mathews who, despite his numerous Broadway musical and concert successes, reaffirms in his biography that his Darin show continues to be his most passionate, ongoing project.

Supporting Mathews are the stunning Copacabana dancers, as well as a special guest vocalist.

"THE LEGENDARY BOBBY DARIN" runs approximately two hours with one intermission.
