In a show originally produced by the Ars Nova Broadway Spotlight series, Jesse Tyler Ferguson moves downtown to Joe's Pub where he name drops, practices the art of storytelling and sings the music of Michael John LaChiusa and William Finn, including songs from their new works, R SHOMON and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. The evening is directed by Jason Eagan and musical directed by Mary Mitchell Campbell.

Ferguson (who is currently in Finn's ...SPELLING BEE at Second Stage) made his Broadway debut opposite Lea Delaria in The NYSF revival of ON THE TOWN. His other NY credits include LaChiusa's LITTLE FISH at Second Stage, Christopher Shinn's WHERE DO WE LIVE at the Vineyard, Paul Rudnick's THE MOST FABULOUS STORY EVER TOLD at the Minetta Lane, NEWYORKERS at MTC, HAIR at City Center Encores and THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) at the Century Theater.

Finn is best known for his musical FALSETTOS, for which he won two Tony Awards. His other musicals include ELEGIES: A SONG CYCLE, A NEW BRAIN, MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS, FALSETTOLAND and IN TROUSERS. His latest, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE starts performances January 11th at Off Broadway's Second Stage Theater.

LaChiusa is the Tony Nominated composer of THE WILD PARTY, MARIE CHRISTINE, LITTLE FISH, HELLO AGAIN, THE FIRST LADIES SUITE, and most recently, THE HIGHEST YELLOW and R SHOMON.
