Jesse Luttrell's wildly successful Bawdy returns to its original home Stage 72 (formerly the Triad) for monthly performances on the last Saturday of every month. Performances begin tonght, February 23rd at 9:30pm.

The brainchild of trampy cabaret favorite Jesse Luttrell, BAWDY is headlined by Luttrell, BAWDY brings together cabaret, drag, and comedy performers of all classifications and orders in a celebration of adult variety paying homage to vaudeville, burlesque, and the hit television variety shows of the 50's and 60's.

First conceived in 2009 as a benefit for Marriage Equality NEW YORK, BAWDY enjoyed sold-out runs at the same venue. After an extended break, BAWDY is set to return with all of the sexy, crazy, glitzy, and raging bravado we've come to expect from Luttrell. Make sure your wig is on straight and be prepared to be entertained.

For the February 23rd performance, Luttrell will be featuring West Village nightlife legends Melissa Driscoll (from Stonewall Inn), The Parodivas (the hilarious parody-singing dynamic duo), and burlesque superstars Gemini Rising, Grace Gotham, and Tansy Tan Dora. The cast for the evening will also include Sabra!, Evan Campbell, Tripp Fountain, Buddy Flowers, Laura Oldham (Kazoo Girl), and Paul Winkler.
