The national tour of Jersey Boys, which opened at San Francisco's Curran Theatre on December 10th, has broken that theatre's house record, according to Variety.

So far, the musical has grossed $1,096,270.

Directed by two-time Tony Award-winner, Des McAnuff, Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and won the Tony for Best Musical 2006. The national tour stars Erich Bergen (Bob Gaudio), Michael Ingersoll (Nick Massi), Christopher Kale Jones (Frankie Valli), and Deven May (Tommy DeVito).

Jersey Boys, which won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe; plus choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound Design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, projection design by Michael Clark, orchestrations by Steve Orich, and music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music by Ron Melrose.

The national tour of Jersey Boys recently extended its stay in San Francisco with performances through March 25, 2007.
