On January 30th, 2017, singer/songwriter Jeremy Schonfeld celebrates his birthday with an all-star lineup of talented friends in concert at (Le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleeker Street, New York, NY 10012). Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm.

In celebration of his birthday, Schonfeld shares his 25 year journey in New York, chronicling his debut work at Village Gate to Madison Square Garden, and all of the music since.

The rocking evening features opening acts by Chase Crandell and Jackson Perrin of The Artful Dodgers, and Lauren Weintraub at 7:30 pm. The performers blend their pop-folk sounds with their Broadway roots to kick things off.

Schonfeld will be joined on stage by his band which includes John Clancy, Matt Beck, Doug Derryberry, Stephen "Hoops" Snyder, and Winston Roye, as they accompany singers Frankie Grande (Big Brother, Rock of Ages), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Ryann Redmond (Bring it On, If/Then), Brook Wood (Spun), Max Sangerman (The 12), Melvin Tunstall III (Beautiful), Jen Perry (Kinky Boots), Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys), Christian Campbell (Trick, Drift), America Olivo (Spiderman: Turn off the Dark), Alison Cusano (A Night with Janis Joplin) and more.

A birthday reception for Jeremy and friends will be held directly following the concert. All are invited to stay for the afterparty.

Jeremy Schonfeld, writer, is a celebrated singer/songwriter, composer/lyricist, occasional actor, producer, mentor and teacher. His concept album Iron & Coal, produced in Vienna, Austria with producing partners Beat4Feet (Martin Gellner and Werner Stranka), was nominated for several Amadeus Awards (Austrian Grammys). Previously, Jeremy created the album 37 Notebooks, featuring vocal performance contributions from friends including Adam Pascal, Julia Murney, Tracie Thoms, Amy Spanger, Lauren Kennedy, and Donnie Kehr. Additional albums include Drift and Blue Skies and All, plus song contributions to the movie soundtrack for Clear Blue Tuesday (co-starring Jeremy) and the featured single Babazille Mahlangu written for the Broadway in South Africa campaign. Jeremy has penned the rock musicals Spun (written with Emily Goodson) and Greta, featured on NewMusicalTheatre.com. His latest work, Calling All Kates premiers Spring 2017 with The Bloomington Playwrights Project.
